  • I think we should get out. Afghanistan is not a country that is conducive to a democratic government, so I just don't see the point. Eight years is enough, and if the population is not willing or able to stand up for themselves I don't see why the United States should do it for them.

  • Obama was elected BECAUSE of his promises for change. There is a large majority in the House and the Senate - he should just push the legislation through WITH a public option and not worry about the "bipartisan" issue.

  • If I can hold out till 70, I will; otherwise it'll be 66 and 2 months. I'm a single parent, no retirement, no house, only Social Security (and which, for those who think we'll "suck it dry", I've contributed to for 36 years now!). As a secretary, I work paycheck-to-paycheck so there's no savings.

  • I remember threatening them several times that I would tie them to the roof of the car if they didn't shut up! And there were several times that I just stopped and pulled over and refused to continue on until things calmed down!

  • I've already lost my house, and I doubt this will help anyone else save theirs. Maybe I won't lose my job. We need regulation - by Dems.
