Who will win the Cavaliers-Celtics playoff series?
Tue Apr 27, 2010
. . . but after the Cavs' play last night, it's a little scary . . .!
Should the White House and congressional Democrats try to pass the health care overhaul bill after Martha Coakley's Senate loss?
Wed Jan 20, 2010
Massachusetts already has universal health care so what do they care about the rest of us? The opinion of one state shouldn't shoot down health care for the other 49 states.
Should pulling out of Afghanistan be an option in President Obama's review of war strategy?
Mon Oct 5, 2009
I think we should get out. Afghanistan is not a country that is conducive to a democratic government, so I just don't see the point. Eight years is enough, and if the population is not willing or able to stand up for themselves I don't see why the United States should do it for them.
Should a public option be included in the proposed health care overhaul?
Mon Aug 17, 2009
Obama was elected BECAUSE of his promises for change. There is a large majority in the House and the Senate - he should just push the legislation through WITH a public option and not worry about the "bipartisan" issue.
When do you plan to retire?
Mon Jul 27, 2009
If I can hold out till 70, I will; otherwise it'll be 66 and 2 months. I'm a single parent, no retirement, no house, only Social Security (and which, for those who think we'll "suck it dry", I've contributed to for 36 years now!). As a secretary, I work paycheck-to-paycheck so there's no savings.
Would you be willing to trade higher taxes for a larger social safety net?

Perhaps being illiterate is part of your problem.
Have you ever considered leaving your bickering kids at the side of the road?
Wed Apr 22, 2009
I remember threatening them several times that I would tie them to the roof of the car if they didn't shut up! And there were several times that I just stopped and pulled over and refused to continue on until things calmed down!
Who helped the top of the ticket more?
Thu Oct 2, 2008
Perhaps, but it's pathetic.
Is the congressional compromise on the bailout bill a good deal?
Sun Sep 28, 2008
I've already lost my house, and I doubt this will help anyone else save theirs. Maybe I won't lose my job. We need regulation - by Dems.
